I have lived...I have loved...

I am in kitty heaven

On August 30, I, Raisin Cane, passed on to a place where there is fresh catnip growing all the time...there is nothing to scare me or bother me anymore...there are no "right" or "wrong" places to pee.
I am at peace.
My mommy loved me so much she couldn't see me suffering through the liver failure that I was enduring. She talked to me, held me, shared our fond memories and then hugged me tightly as I went to "sleep".
However, I went out with the same verbalization that I gave her when she first found me, an abandoned straggly, flea-ridden kitten---I growled. But this time it was a growl saying "Good Bye Mommy".
I love you.
I'm sorry if I ruined your carpets.
I'm sorry I pooped all over the house.
But I'm not sorry we had 6 years together, or fun in the screen house "Our Special Place" or that you felt it was better that I pass on to meet my sister, Kit Kat, at the golden gate for Kitties.
I always knew you loved me best.
I was your first kitten.
I am resting in Peace.
Your Raisin Cane.

Well, I suppose you read all the embarassing things my mom has said about me peeing and pooping on the floor---but heck, if she hadn't brought all those other cats in the house maybe I wouldn't need psychotrophic medications.
And, if she sees that I have tried and now go in the bathtub to make it easier for her to clean after me, she should realize that I AM trying to be more cooperative.
In fact, I actually put my foot in the litter today and with one foot in and one foot out I did a wee....so what if most of it went out of that stupid box?
It's an inhumane place to do one's private business anyway.
When that brat, Zak, came into the house about a month or so ago, I said to myself, "That's the last straw, give me something good to pee on!" and stayed in the upper floor for most of the day until I was good and hungry and snuck down the stairs to get some grub.
And another thing that angers me is that Mom has closed all the bedroom doors so I can't lay on the beds anymore, which was my favorite place to be.
I mean, just because I wet a few patchwork quilts and had a poop stash under the guest bed, doesn't mean I deserve to be banished from the comforts of the bedroom...it seems the punishment has outweighed the crime!
However, if I want to have any communication in this house, I will have to make friends with someone, so it may as well be Zak as he likes to bird watch out the window. I like that also, so at least we have THAT in common.
