Arrival Story:
I was perusing the Edison animal shelter . Tigger followed me with his eyes the entire time I was there. We stared at each other for a long time. The lady took him out of his cage he latched onto my t-shirt and slobbered it all up. Poor thing was love starved and I had alot of dry shirts, so $14.00 later, he was happily on his way to his new home. I never met a cat that got used to his surroundings so fast. He hid for 2 minutes, came out, I showed him around the house and that was it! He made himself at home and I haven't had a dry t-shirt since.

Bio:
Tigger is a hefty boy. On his hind legs, he stands at 3 feet, weighs about 20lbs now and is trim for his size. Despite Tigger's size, he's a mama's boy. His Canine brother Oscar(died 6/2005) who was half his size ruled the house. He questions everything, which can be the only explanation for his tail. It's forever curled in a question mark and totally pose-able! (If the curl is to the left, one flick of my finger, and it's curled to the right or whatever direction I gently push it too- too cute!) Tigger's a very talkative and expressive cat and will hold a conversation with you. He seems to always be asking me questions, the inflection of the meow goes up in the end. He's pondering the universe, or asking me how to get at the chipmunks who live underneath the patio. He also says "huh?" alot. Like wanna play? huh?" He's protective of me, but over the strangest things. Like the shower, I put on the water and go to step in, and here's Tigger pulling at me and begging me not to go in. Meowing insintantly and grabbing at my leg with both front paws. He then stands outside the bathtub with a worried look, meowing loudly until I emerge. No matter how much I try and explain it to him, he still thinks the shower is somehow going to harm me.
