Arrival Story:
A stray cat had alitter of kittens in our garage on Easter Monday. It was very cold as a cold front was coming through. For some reason the mother cat didn't come back to the litter during the night and the next day when we went to check on them they were almost frozen to death. We took them to the vet and sadly 4 of them did not make it. We brought the other 3 home to nurse and after a week one more died. We hesitated to name the other two til they were about 2-3 weeks old.......happily mittens and her brother Lucky are now almost two and are in very good health.

Bio:
I had to take Lucky to work with me because he had to be nursed around the clock. We bottle fed him til about 5 weeks old. Then he was able to stay home with his sister (in a cage since no one was home) and eat wet food and go in the litter box. I wasn't sure if we could keep the two of them because I am allergic to cats. But they are amost two now and I am okay with them.....how funny is that!

Oh My........I Have Been Tagged!!

A furry cute kitty named Edwina tagged me and I have to tell 7 things about me and then tag 7 furs and they have to do the same thing. Well here goes:

1. I don't clean myself, I had problems as a kitten so now meowmie has to give me baths all the time to clean me.

2. I like to sneak food from all the food dishes at night when everyone is sleeping.

3. I don't like to be all alone. I will cry til someone comes to me.

4. I love to snuggle with anyone of my brofur or sisfurs.

5. I am very afraid of the outside. I like to look but will never go out into the big scary world.

6. I am a big cat.....weighing 20 lbs, but when I get wet I don't look quite that big.

7. I am so glad that meowmie kept me even though she is allergic to us furs!!

Hope this helps all who reads this get to know me alittle better.


Go Orange For Animals!!

Well it has been a while since I last wrote in my diary!! Here it is April 10 ~ Go Orange For Animals Day!! What a special day this is. Not only did they pick orange for there color scheme.......I am also orange. I just so glad that my meowmie kept me when I was born in her garage......my wish is that every animal could have a good furever home like I got!! I am also glad we joined Catster over 3 years ago!!! We have made so many wonderful furry friends!! This place has just become so special to us. GO ORANGE!!!!

Thanksgiving 2007

Four years ago today our doggie sister died. I only got to know her for 7 months......but she was the best cuz if I was laying in her cage she would come in very carefully (Since I was small) and lay with me. She was a Jack Russell/Terrier and was 10 years old. I still miss her. I'm thankful that my meowmie kept me and my sisfur even though she already had a dog and is allergic to cats. She is the best meowmie cuz she would take me and my sisfur to her work everyday for the first 5 weeks of our life to make sure we were taken care of. She loves us very much and always gives us big kisses and hugs and fresh food and water.
