Arrival Story:
A stray cat had alitter of kittens in our garage on Easter Monday. It was very cold as a cold front was coming through. For some reason the mother cat didn't come back to the litter during the night and the next day when we went to check on them they were almost frozen to death. We took them to the vet and sadly 4 of them did not make it. We brought the other 3 home to nurse and after a week one more died. We hesitated to name the other two til they were about 2-3 weeks old.......happily mittens and her brother Lucky are now almost two and are in very good health.

Bio:
When Mittens was at the vet she was given only a 20% chance of living. She showed them!! I had to take her to my work because she had to be nursed around the clock. We bottle fed her and rocked her to sleep. I stopped taking her to work at 5 weeks old. She then was able to eat wet food and go to the bathroom on her own.
