D.J. was diagososed with Squamous Cell Carsonoma (SCC) on 2/24/07. It is in his mouth, on the upper left side along his teeth. It is a depression about an inch long. His bioposy confirmed SCC. The Vet said he could perform cryosurgery, which would be the only surgical possibility. Chemo and radiation would not be a good option. The Vet is not too optimistic. I have read quite a bit about cat SCC the last week on the internet, and on various forums, and it is obvious that SCC is a fast acting and virolent cancer. There were a few positive comments about cryosurgery on SCC, but most of the comments stated that the cat only lived a few months after the surgery. I am trying to decide what to do !!! Please pray for D.J.
He is still eating and acting normal , and spends four hours or so in the evening in my lap.
Thanks,
Dan and D.Jj.
