FEB 23rd, 2012

Today Callie passed away in my arms at 11:28 p.m. after a brief illness. The Dr.s didn't know for sure what was wrong with her, possibly a pancreatic tumor. She just continued to get skinnier and skinnier. She finally stopped eating the baby food except for small bites. I found her under the kitchen table cold and stiff and I thought she was gone at that point, but I held her and put a blanket on her and she started to breathe again to where I could actually feel her moving. We rocked together to the end and I asked Dad to watch over her. RIP Callie.
