Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
Likes: Food, food and more food! Playing 'chase me!'

Pet-Peeves: Squirt bottle discplinary action on the part of her owners, claw trimming, ear cleaning.

Favorite Toy: Anything with feathers or strings.

Favorite Nap Spot: In the kitty window hammock. Or in my suitcase. Or on my knitting.

Favorite Food: Weirdly enough, canned pumpkin and her seafood hairball treatment gel.

Skills: She can jimmie open doors, fly down up and downstairs like a jet! Newest trick: turning the radio on.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: Meadow was listed on the local Humane Society website along with her housemate, Carmen. When we met her, she was sprawled out on the very top level of this huge cat tree, looking like the utter diva she is. I petted her and she started licking me. The description on the website said that she could entertain herself just fine and boy, is that the truth!

Bio: Like her housemate, Carmen, Meadow's origins are a mystery. She is our 'wild child,' our full-figure gal and she has the most delicate little voice. Despite her weight she can really tear around the house. She can also be a real stinker, jumping up where she shouldn't, chasing Carmen around when Carmen would rather be left alone, etc. But she's hilarious to watch and we love her mightily!

Lives Remaining: 8 of 9

Or hello, in Russian. Mom's class is going to think she's gone around the bend with all this 'journaling' she has us do. Oh well, at least they'll all get to see what a truly fine specimen of a tortie looks like. Ugh, Carmen's primping and Sweetie being digustingly cute. Sheesh, you'd think this was a real cat show or something. I'm going to go take a nap until class starts.

Heeheehee. I figured out how to step on the snooze button just right so that Mom's alarm won't beep annoyingly. It's so much fun to watch her bolt out of bed and tear around the house getting ready. Some of the words she says while she's doing that are really 'colorful.' This is much more fun than turning on the Bose radio!

There's another cat in this house. This is an outrage. The little squirt thinks she's top cat. She's had the nerve to stand up to me when I try to put her in her place. She doesn't cower in fear as an inferior newbie should. Worse yet, she chases me! ME!
Oh wait....I guess I don't mind that part so much as long as she keeps her claws in. She is a nice change of playmate from ol' stick-in-the-mud, I'm-too-much-of-a-lady Carmen. Sweetie (that's her name, can you believe it?) is a trifle too fast for me sometimes and she can still fit under the bed, so my pursuit gets foiled a lot.
Oop - must dash. Sweetie's got my favorite toy in her mouth. She's skuttling away with it to the kitchen and I'd better go retrieve it from her before she bats it under the refridgerator.
Grumble. I liked being top cat.
