My mommy is crying...she found out yesterday that I have heartworms. My vet referred me to a specialist and I will have to go see him on Monday (I hate doctors!!).

Mommy asks will everyone please pray for me?? She is so scared of losing me...I am just a very young girl and my Mommy and Grandmaw love me very, very much. Mommy just cries and cries, and I am confused why she is so upset all of a sudden, she is usually so much fun to play with. But maybe if people (and kitties!) pray for me, I will get all better and Mommy will stop crying and start playing with me again.

I am so sorry to hear you are sick, Sweetpea! My family is praying and purring for you to get good news from the doctor...I have never heard of a cat with heartworms but my family had a dog survive them after being very sick, and live many happy years afterwards.

Thank you all so much! I haven't seen that evil man again yet MOL, but during my regular check-up in January my regular doctor said I looked really good and that my heart and lungs sound fine!!! That made Mommy and Grandmaw soo happy! I still take my meds every night like a good girl (which I am!!) and I LOVE to play!!!!!!!!!!
