Gray Tabby

FOOD! Going outside, running, pouncing, jumping, sleeping, bathing.

Being picked up, having my feet, belly, or tail touched.

Favorite Toy:
My human's hands and feet. I like to wait around corners to pounce the unsuspecting. I do like toy mice, as long as my human is around to make them move.

Favorite Nap Spot:
At the top of my cat tree or on my heated cat-mat.

Favorite Food:
I'm not picky. If it's even questionably edible, I'll eat it.

I play catch! Throw my toy mice to me and I'll throw them back. I also throw the mice for myself and catch them.

indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story:
As told by my human........ "I was at a garden party in early August 2003 when a friend asked if anyone wanted a kitten. She had showed up on his doorstep and although he was happy to take care of her, his older cat wasn't happy and picked on her. So, I told him to bring her on over to my house. I hurriedly went out and bought a litter box, a few toys, and some kitten chow. He brought her over in a crate covered with a blanket. I pulled the blanket aside and saw a tiny, tiny kitten (too small to be away from her mama for sure, don't know how she ended up wandering the streets) who immediately stood up and hissed, ready to defend herself. I have no idea what she had been through up to that point; she was scared, but definitely ready to fight tooth and nail who or whatever it was who had her now! I picked her up and took her into the kitchen and gave her some food, which she immediately scarfed down, purring. I let her explore the house on her own for a while, then tempted her with some toys. She came to play and showed immediately that she was an amazing jumper. I was very pleased that she got into bed with me later that night, groomed the top of my head the way kitties do, curled up, and went to sleep, purring. She's been my loyal companion these seven years now. I've never known a cat so smart (and THAT is saying something) and wouldn't trade her for anything!"

My roommates used to call her The Terrorist when she was small. She liked to wait for people to walk by, then take a flying leap onto their leg or torso, attaching herself with all 20 claws. Painful, but hilarious. She can snatch a bird out of the air. I've never seen an insect in my house since she came, though I have been presented with countless mice and voles. She is afraid of plastic bags (scary noise! scary noise!)----pretty skittish for such a fierce warrior!
