Arrival Story:
I had the opportunity of meeting an excellent lady. She was an elderly lady who was diagnosed with cancer. She was being sent into hospice. The only thing this poor woman was concerned about, was her beautiful siamese cat, Jasmine. She kept saying that she could not leave this world, knowing that her baby wouldn't have anyone to cuddle up with. I naturally offered to take her into my home. Jasmine is a wonderful cat. Very calm, peaceful, nothing phases her. She fit in immediately with our other "furkids". Two weeks after taking her in, she was meowing so loudly and wouldn't stop. We took her to the vet, and there was nothing wrong with her. All night long, she continued vocalizing and just staring at us. We were so worried about her. The next morning, I received a call that her previous owner had passed away. She never vocalized like that again. I know it sounds silly, but my husband and I truly believe that she knew her owner was passing away. I hope her previous owner can rest in peace, as her Jasmine is being very well taken care of and never goes a second without being loved.
