There's a suspicious character hanging around my yard lately. This cat is white with a solid grey mask and cape. This caped invader keeps coming up to my mom and squeaking at her. Yeah that's right, SQUEAKING. For some reason my mom thinks this weird squeaking sound it makes is very charming, and she always runs inside to grab some food to put out. Meanwhile, I'm staring out the window at my mom giving away food that should be going to ME. I don't really get it. The caped invader is definitely not a stray, because he or she is kind of chubby and has sparkling clean fur. And yet somehow my mom is so charmed by that squeaking that she can't resist. I actually have not been hissing at the caped invader. YET. I kind of admire his/her style. Much better than that punk Greystripe cat that comes by.

Could they be missing? It must be fun to see so many visiting.
I understand completely Toki. My Momcat is the same way....and look what can happen-stray kitty outside the window looking sweet-sometimes they come INSIDE your house and STAY like Miss Minerva! But she is a good sisfur!
Minko is a squeaker kitty, too, MOL!
You get a lot of visitors, they must know that your Mom will be kind and feed them!
How did you and your neighborhood fare in last weeks storm??
All is well?
I hope your new caped kitty isn't a 'victim' of that nasty storm!
Chubby? or maybe she is eating for two (or 3 or 4)? It is nice that your Mom is good to your visitors. My brother Percy likes to squeak too. Mom does find it charming too.
Hi guys! The caped invader started coming by before the hurricane, so i don't think she's lost. (Mom will keep an eye out for "lost cat" signs though.) I am starting to think it's a "she". But Whoa, I didn't even consider that she may be pregnant instead of just chubby. She kind of looks like a chubby version of you, Skylar, except instead of the classy grey suit there is more white fur so it's more like a cape and mask.
Btw, we did make it through the hurricane ok, luckily. Mom lost cell service for a couple days though. The power went out briefly, 2 days after the hurricane, which was weird. But I guess they were fixing other power lines. Across the street, a tree fell on their roof so it kinda looks like a monster punched it down. Also, the park down the street that I walk to with my mom had about 5 really big trees come down. When they remove the fallen trees, it will be so different :( It seems petty when looking at the destruction in other parts of NJ and NY, but my mom feels really sad seeing grand old beautiful trees ripped out of the ground or broken. Such a shame.
Make sure that kitty don't eat all your food, MOL!
We are happy to know that you are all safe, there.
Toki, sorry you are guys are going through all that chaos up there. And now snow on top of everything! (it is sad about the trees....Mom loves looking at old trees and thanking about all the generations that have looked at them before her)
Now about the skirt, if she's a she. It could be she's wearing a trappers hat...fur hat with the ears. Mom has one and she absolutely loves it but some family members like to crack jokes about Siberia when she wears it. Mom being a huge Dr. Zhivago fan, admits the Russian feel does have something to do with her love for it.
Anyway, I say the skirt has class.
If it's a guy, I know him. He's a cat wantabe Batman. He gets in the way of our missions all the time.
Love ya, glad your safe and sound.
So good of you to help the caped invader. We been in contact with cousins Ashes and Pepper in Tinton Falls, NJ. They did not do so well. Lots of tree damage, but their family still in their house. No power for 8 days! Power for 12 hours then it go out again! Now no power still. But they gettin' snow. The kitties love snuggling with the peeplz. Everyone trying to stay warm.
Oh yeah, we know all about invaders. One of them keeps walking in our house like he owns the place - and the Mama and Papa just say "Hello, Socks, did you want to come in?" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this...
Anyways, glad you guys are OK, and feel grateful your Mama is carrying the food OUT to him/her. :(
I just noticed I have 666 friends. It's the mark of the beast! Cue the creepy music. Maybe I should try and friend another cat right away. Heehee.
Anyway, it snowed yesterday and it's very very cold. the caped invader must be home licking her chubby tummy, because she hasn't shown up the past couple mornings.
I've got the perfect solution for you: the Ferals will send you a friend request, then you won't just be at 667, but at like more than a dozen more!
Yeah, we'll send you a friend request. Uh, does your mom have any more of that kibble she's been handing out? Hehehe...
Oh, and look - you got a DDP today for your story - congrats, Toki!
Concatulations, Toki! You are a DDP!!
Here are some birdies (& others), for your amusement...
Pipo & Minko
Huge concats on the DDP Pick, Toki!
Thanks you guys! I can't believe I missed it! Mom was working late the whole weekend and was really tired. Now she thinks she has the flu, or hopefully just a cold. This might ruin Thanksgiving! Anyway, thanks so much for the awesome pictures. Mom is still getting by with no computer, so she can't post them. I wish there was a way to do it with iPhone.
