Lazy days...

Mum and dad went to bed later than usual last night... Dad decided to make us wait a bit longer than usual for our dinner but that must have been because mum wasn't well.

Humans are so silly sometimes. Dear mumsie got up quite early (in human terms) yesterday morning and left my brother and I with nothing but a few crumbs for breakfast. She has me on a diet. Me?? I'm no fat, I am simple big boned. Unlike my rat of a brother who is nothing but long limbs and tail... humph. Must be all those lizards he eats. I much prefer to just play with mine. Very amusing until Mum comes out and yells at me. Doesnt she understand that I just want to show her my new toy? I guess humans don't like it very much when you leave lizards in their bathtubs.

What was I saying? Oh yes! Dear mumsie was quite unwell and left the house in that big, noisy contraption called a car (or so Jack tells me) but was back not long after. Jack and I decided to be nice and keep her company as she snored away the morning. It wasn't until well after lunch time that she decided to get up.

Today was another boring day. Mum let us out early this morning but I think that is so Jack doesnt interupt her sleep in. I didnt catch any lizards have have done nothing but sleep on the deck all day... Ahh... it's good to be a cat!
