Just when I thought life couldn't get any better, mom went and ruined everything. I was happily living at grandma and grandpas house, running around free as the wind with no dogs chasing after me. Lots of nifty hiding places and new toys to play with. More people to pay attention to me. Then all of a sudden, no warning whatsoever, that turncoat aka mom, started bringing all these boxes over. At fist I was excited as I love to play in cardboard boxes. But these boxes were full of stuff. Mom's clothes! Things just snowballed from there. Mom and grandpa brought mom's bed over, followed by her dresser. A lightbulb went off in my head and I started purring in delight when I realized mom was moving in with me! Yeah! Even though I love being in this new home I really miss mom. My delight was short lived. Before I could blink mom brought over the big huge water bowl that those two big hairy beast drink out of. What a mess they make, flinging water all over the floor. They need to take lessons from me. I actually have manners and never make a mess with my water dish. Beside the big water dish mom put down two more bowls. I put my nose in them and smelled dog breath! Yuck! I stomped up the steps and refused to come down for hours. I would have liked to stay up there for days. But mom foiled the plans for my snit. She brought both dogs over, and the first thing they did was run up the stairs to gang up on me. I swatted them both on the nose and remindd them who was in charge right away. It's a good thing I nipped it in the bud right away. Those hooligans have actually left me alone. The three of us have been getting along great. It's not like the old house that we used to live in. It just wasn't big enough for all three of us. But this house is huge and that helps us to get along. I'm still mad at mom though and giving her a cold shoulder. She is nothing but a turncoat!

A few weeks ago mom had enough of the dog beating up on me so she packed me up and took me to grandma and grandpa's house to stay temporarily. Woo hoo! I love it there! Grandpa made me all kinds of cat toys to play with so now my days are filled with chasing toy mice, rolling around on a cat nip rug or playing with a ball of string. I love to sit on Grandma's lap and be pet. Every morning he reads the newspaper and I love to sit with her.....well, I love to sit on the newspaper really. Grandma and Grandpa have tons of windows for me to watch the birds and the squirrels play in the yard. The best thing is now when I come out to play I don't have to fight that 80 pound beast that mom calls a dog. I am so relaxed and happy. Mom still comes to see me everyday, but she says she misses snuggling in bed together at night. I miss her too but this house is so cool. It's every cat's dream! I'm living a dream guys, living a dream!

I am doing so good after my neuter. I'm just as playful and curious as ever. I'm hoping now that dog won't be so interested in me and he will leave me alone. Mom says its about time to try to bring one of the dogs home to see how I react. Keep your paws crossed everyone!
