One day I was determined to get a cat. December 23, 2008 I was just driving and was like I'm going to find a cat that deserves to go from rags to riches. So I looked online at craigslist. I saw this woman posted her phone number and she had cats for sale. I called her up and she told me she had two cats and told me i could come see them. I got to her apartment...she had a huge dog roaming the small place, and her little boys had the kittens in their room. God only knows how they were being kept by these dirty looking kids...So I had two cats to choose from... One was lively and friendly... The other was smaller and crying. The woman told me how the cat's mother had been hit by a trash truck a few weeks ago and had to be put down and the cats weren't with their mom during the critical part of their lives. Well Out of the two cats...I wanted the crying one... She had eye boogers and wouldn't stop crying. Poor thing probably would not have found a home. So i paid the woman and walked away with my little princess. From that lady's house we went straight to petsmart and bought her one of everything and took her to the vet. The medicine for her eye infection was more expensive than her...i couldn't believe it...not even 24 hours and shes already costing me an arm and a leg. I guess thats why she went from rags to riches...
