Arrival Story:
My dog, "Fire," is a border collie who decided that once we moved to West Virginia she would patrol the alleys of the small town we moved to. One night during her patrols she comes back for her nightly walks with something in her mouth. Me being a human assumed the Rottie in her had found her dinner for the night and my hooror. I was dumbfounded to see her gently lay this kitten on my chair and nudge it towards me and lay down while wagging her tail and looking at me. Needless to say I was surprised since my girl has never had a litter and I didn't think she had a mothering instinct in her but she did remind me that even starving kittens in the rain need a loving home and it's been a joy to have this magical cat in our lives.

Chester Is Adopted

Chester was adopted and is living out his life with his new family. I'm so happy for him. He's been seen going out to restaurants and to jazz festivals and making friends every where he goes in Pittsburg.

I've been busy on the farm looking out for the dogs. There are a few new dogs and it looks like I have some work to do. It hurts to see the fear and nervousness of dogs from abusive situations. They don't know how lucky they are to have me.

Where is Pat?

You understand my worry when mommy is late getting to work? Pat has never been late to work and I am waiting for my morning treat. I sit there waiting for her car to get there so I can warm up before we start our jobs.

I finally see her walking up the driveway and smiling when she sees me. I am happy she's okay and I get my slim jim after she tells me that her car is buried under 2 feet of snow. Only Pat would find the humor in that. She tells me that at least she's alive and I'm contenet with that.

As you can see in my video I have a hard job making sure the dogs are calm and relaxed. I hope you'll read the ads of some of my family members looking for a home of their own.
