Arrival Story: I was Teddy's foster mother in the NZ summer of 09-10 when she came from the SPCA with three little chums (a composite litter, they weren't all related). I just loved her and ended up adopting her, partly because she was so stupid it didn't seem fair to expect her to make her own way in the world.
Until two days before I adopted her, I was under the impression that Teddy was a BOY. That's what the SPCA told me! Then when I took her and the others in for their final vet check before desexing, BOMBSHELL. Teddy was a girl. I was quite bewildered. So Theodore became Theodora and remained Teddy, because I'd already got a collar tag engraved and I wasn't about to waste my $10.99.

Bio: Teddy took an inordinately long time to toilet train. When she pooped on my bed I didn't love her AT ALL for a few minutes.
