Toxo what??

I heard Mommy talking to Dad and she was saying the vet told her I had toxoplasmosis?? She noticed my poo was REALLY loose so she brought some to the vet. I have no idea what that is but Mom sounds VERY frustrated that I have something else. Of course she jumped on the computer and found out that it's dangerous for pregnant women and she's about to go through IVF! The vet is going to give me some medicine and Murphy and Mooshi have to take it too. I feel really bad but it's not my fault I'm sick. Mom is now wondering if I ever had Giardia or even FHV considering toxoplaswhachacallit can affect eyes and cause ulcers. She's going to ask the vet to take blood because from what she read, a poo exam isn't as reliable as blood. I don't think I'm gonna like that!

Poor Mom, she's so stressed out. She's never had kitties that get sick like we all have been. Now poor Murphy has something going on with his eye too :( Good thing mommy can't resist my cute little face!!

All settled in

My Mommy says I act just like a little brother. I tear around the house causing all sorts of commotion and bothering my older siblings. What I really want is attention!!! I'm SO happy the vet told Mommy she could stop giving me my eye drops. I HATED them o_O Mommy was giving us all some powder in our foods but now she gives me some treats that I think are yummy! Mooshi and Murphy don't get any so I must be special :]

New Medicine

Mommy got a new medicine for my eye. It's a drop I need to get every two hours. I heard her talking to Daddy and it seems to be helping. She's also not mad at the shelter people, it wasn't their fault. Their vet told them the eye wouldn't need any treatment and I when I was retested for giardia I was negative. She feels really bad for getting mad at them.

They do have me back in "gen-pop" with Murphy and Mooshi. I REALLY like to chase Mooshi but she still hisses at me. Good thing she doesn't use her claws when she hits me!

Right now I'm curled up on Mommy's bed because I just got a drop and I like to rest my eye after it. I'm probably going to take a nap now so I'll chat more later!
