We bought her in a pet store. Two months later, I said to my husband "Do those look like balls?" Lexi was really a male kitty, the pet store owner told us Lexi was a female. We were too attached to thinking of him as a female kitty that we decided 'he' was going to stay a 'she' to us. So Lexi is a girl, but we changed her official name to Lexington. People love this story.
