Mama's office is a mess, and Peekie and I did not do it. Mama wanted to make a Valentine's Day card for our daddy, but she sorta did not want to do it. Peekie and I think she worried that it would not turn out good enuff for our daddy cuz it has to be REAL good. Finally mama decided to try makin the card, but she kept changin her mind bout what it would look like. Mama spendened an hour lookin for a speshl stamp. Then later she found it right on the table with a buncha nuther stamps. The first card she stamped did not turn out right cuz the ink pad was too dry. Mama put more inks on it. Oops; I guess I should not tell ya xactly what the card looks like cuz daddy likes to read my diary on Catster. Anyway, mama finally finished the card. She is not sure it is good enuff, but the Peekster and I know daddy will like it just cuz mama made it speshl for him.

Mama decidered to make anuther card that was totally diffrunt. She was stampin and colorin and runnin for water and washin the paint thingie. Mama finally finished the second card and put it inside a giant book to finish dryin and get squished. This mornin mama got out the card, and it dried perfect. It is nice and flat. Does mama know to let well enough alone? Nope. She is gonna try to put some glittery stuff on it. Peekie and I are afraid if it does not work we might learn new words that mama will not want us to say.

Anyway, it is almost noon, and mama's big stampsterin table is still all messy with markers, paint brushies, stamps, embossin powder, books, and all sorts of nuther things. They are not even neat.

Mama shoulda been finishin up that last card and cleanin and puttin stuff away and neaterin stuff in nice stacks. Was she doin it? Nope; she was watchin a Paper Wishes webisode (what the heck is that?). Then she ordered more stampsterin stuff, somethin called templates. Hmmmmm...That sounds messy. I sure hope mama does some cleanerin before daddy comes back to spend Valentine's Day with us.
