We were watching one of our favorite kitty shows on the Animal Planet channel last night with Mom. One of the stories was about some tattoo artists who create the most beautiful tattoos from kitty photos that their owners bring in. All the proceeds go to an animal rescue organization in their town.

Hugs & Purrs, Riley Jen have a tattoo, but not of us kitties. Hmmmm, that sound like a idea. I'll have to talk to her 'bout dis. No Grammy and Meowy don't have any tatoos. They are Chickens! MOL! Auntie Brandy has four tatoos, one is of her Angel Baby Fox. She loves Tatoos and said they don't hurt. So far she hasn't convinced Grammy. We saw that show too, it's a great show. Wish it came on more....we loved the hotel and the man that has the cat house. What a dream....Now if only our humans would build something like that for us. Have a great day Natasha and family. That was the first open shelter ever in the U.S. No tattoos here either and mom has no plans to get one but that sure does sound like a great cause! Anything to help our furiends! I'm sure they aren't anywhere near us but still... Mommy was thinking of getting a tattoo awhile ago. She's recently taken up all kinds of weird things. She died her hair, took up boxing, her and daddy want to get a motorcycle. We think it's because grad school fried her brain. If she got me tattooed on her though... a tattoo could be quite beautiful! hehehe! opps... mommy dyed her hair... not died. Eek! Silly mommy typist! P.S. get any snow yet Natasha? I believe they're in New York Simone and it was a one time thing (at least for the time being). It was a fundraiser deal where they'd get the tattoos and the shop donated all the proceedings to that shelter. A cat tat might be cool. Our mom doesn't have any, and not sure she wants a tat since they are so permanent, but a cat tat of you sounds unique. I hope that show is replayed sometime so we can see it. Luv, Nadi Hi kits! I'm glad some of you caught the show last night, isn't it the best? We just discovered "Must Love Cats" on the Animal Planet. We love the dude who does the show, he travels all over the country to do interesting cat stories. Mom tried to find a link to the tattoo fundraiser on the Animal Planet website but didn't see anything. Love, Natasha We watched the same show - it was "Must Love Cats" and they show them over and over, so I'm sure it will be on again. It's a series of shows. Mom doesn't want any tats, but they were portrait-style from photos, and they were BEAUTIFUL! I'm sure other tattoo artists are able to do them, but it was cool that they benefited a shelter. We just checked the Animal Planet schedule and it looks like it will be on again next Saturday. Not sure if the tattoo story will be replayed at that time, but all the episodes we have watched so far have been great! That is very cool that all the proceeds go to an animal rescue group. My humans don't like needles, but I heard one of them, the oldest girl whose away at school, is painting a portrait of moi! Sounds like a pawsome show Natasha. Mommy says she will have to watch for that show since we've never seen it. I told her I would look stunning as a tattoo. I don't know if she was buying it. I like the idea of the fundraiser. Maybe knowing the money would go to such a good cause takes the sting out! If your mom decides to go for the ankle tattoo (which we think is a pawsome idea) Mom can refer her to a terrific tattoo artist - she'll even go with her! Meow!
