I’ve been a furry busy kitty this weekend helping Mom with her chores. Yesterday Mom changed the sheets on her bed - I just love to help her with that!

As soon as she starts stripping the old sheets off, I jump up on top of the bed and try to hide underneath the sheets. Every time the sheets move, I attack them! This goes on for several minutes and sometimes Mom gets impatient and picks me up and puts me on the floor, but I always jump right back up again to save Mom from the Monster inside the sheets.

When she finally does remove the old sheets off the bed, she then takes out the clean set of folded sheets. I love this part! She shakes the sheets out to unfold them and tries to lay them flat on the bed. I hide underneath the fitted sheet so there is a big lump of Sammy underneath the sheet, making it impossible for Mom to put it over the mattress. Mom had the nerve yesterday to put me outside the bedroom and close the door on me so she could finish making the bed – humph! I scratched and scratched on the door until she let me back inside. Boy was I mad!

Why doesn’t Mom appurrciate it more when I try to help her with her chores?

Hi Sammy! I help momma fold the laundry! I love it. She has a mesh hamper with the handles on it and when she's pulling towels out of the hamper, I love to try and grab them through the hamper. Then I try to jump in and help like that. I like to help with certain chores, others scare me like the vacuum. But I love folding laundry!!! Your's sounds really fun too. I used to do that but as I get older I'm not as into that.

I do the same thing when my Mommie changes the sheets. She will tolerate it for a little bit and then she says, Sassy I have to get done, so she puts me the hallway and shuts the door till she is finished. I am like you, I say but Mommie I was just trying to help!

Me and sister both help when the bed sheets get change! We love it. Mommy and daddy have given up, they just help us 'level up' every time a new sheet gets put down they scoop us up from the hold and plop us down on the new one. Then when the comforter goes on, they make us into the bed!

Oh Sammy I love this too! What fun it is to attack those sheet monsters. Mom lets me help her but she does pick me up and move me around as she makes the bed. Sometimes Pixie comes up and helps too!!! Its BIG fun!!
