I admit it. I’ve been a handful since I was adopted with my sisfur, Natasha, last December. I’ve climbed the walls, chewed electrical cords, and shredded paper all over the house. I had to spend more than a few nights in the spare bedroom because I kept Mama and Daddy awake all night by running across the bed and scratching on the blankets while they are trying to sleep.

But lately I’ve been a mellow little boy. I follow Mama around the house like a little puppy dog, I’ve stopped chewing cords, and I look forward to going outside in my pet stroller. I’m sleeping through the night, well, at least until 4 a.m., and I don’t cause as much trouble as I used to. Mama still hides the trash bins every time she leaves the house, but that’s just because I get bored if no one is around.

I’m almost 7 months old now, so I think I am starting to mellow a little bit. Mama knew I was a special kitty when she first met me. She keeps telling Daddy that as soon as I get a little bit older, I will be a good little kitty. Well, I AM a good little kitty right now; I’m just a little mischievous. One of our kitty friends told us that greater activity level = greater curiosity = greater intelligence. Well, if that is the case, I am one smart kitty – MOL!

Yous growing up!! I's have gotten more mellow too, I's not getting tolit paper out of the trash and chewing it up as much and I'm not biting as much. I's getting really big though I's thinks I's already up to 10 pounds, the vet said I's going to be a big boy!! I's got big bones so I's can't help it, hehe!!

We're the same age and my mama hopes I'll start calming down as I get bigger too, but for right now, I love fighting with the kitchen and bathroom rugs late at night, playing with mama's popuri that she has on the dining table (I like to hide it all over the house too when she's at work) . I also don't think i'll ever stop dragging my food bowl around the kitchen and leaving a nice wet mess for mama to clean up...maybe she needs to get even heavier bowls for me because I'm really strong for a baby =P

Mum and Dad can't wait to have a separate room for me. I may not chew electrical cords anymore but I still do everything else. Good on you Sammy boy. Keep up the attitude. And yes! Not only am I intelligent; I have grown to become truly brilliant!
