I did it!!! I went for my first ride in my pet stroller! Mommy has been waiting for the perfect opportunity and today was it! She has had the pet stroller out for weeks now hoping that Natasha and I would sniff it, explore it, and get comfortable with it.
Luke and Tully stroll all the time. Tully even runs to his stroller if he thinks he has an opportunity to go outside in it. Well, I showed him I could do it, too. Mom scooped me up while I was sniffing the stroller and zipped me inside. She waited, not knowing how I would react to being enclosed in a compartment. I do not like to be confined in any way and I will actually throw a huge hissy fit if Mom puts me in a cat carrier. This was different. I sensed that this was something good. We went out in the backyard at first in the stroller and I looked all around. I smelled the spring blossoms. I heard birds chirping and squirrels chattering. It was very interesting!
Mom wheeled me through the side gate and we went to the front yard. Then she started walking down the street with me in the stroller. It was very exciting! There were so many new sights and sounds. I looked all around and seemed comfortable so Mom kept walking. We went around an entire block! Mom was so happy when we got back home, she couldn’t stop praising me for my bravery. I think I’m going to like strolling!
Excited purrs, Sammy

We are so proud of you going on your first Stroll, that must have been very exciting....I haven't gone on a stroll, Mom needs to try, I think I would have fun too, unless a big truck comes by, I am afraid of trucks...
I bet you can't wait for your next stroll....and another adventure
Hey, that sounds like fun! Maybe I'll suggest it to Mom. She always says that the only disadvantage to cats is that she gets NO exercise taking us out for walks (we walk reeeeeaaaall slow, 'cause we have to check out everything along the way). Half the time she's standing there holding a leash that disappears under a tree or into a bush.
But if we had a stroller, she could walk as fast as she wanted, maybe even jog.
Oh, Sammy! Congrats on your first stroll. I'm sure you'll enjoy many more. Does your mum have pictures? I think I would like to try strolling but I've never scene that contraption before . Where would i get one?
Glad you liked the stroller ride. Guess you will be asking momcat for more now. Did she get pictures of your first stroller ride?
Have a great day and hope you get another ride soon.

Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures this time. Mom didn't know how I would react to being in the stroller for the first time...we will try and take some soon, though.
One of the best things about strolling, besides the fact that we get exposed to fresh air and new sights and sounds, is that Mom gets some exercise - MOL! It's an added incentive for her to take us out as much as she can.
If any of you are interested, I'll send you an invite to our Super Strollers Group. Kibbles and his family are very active in the group and we all share information about our strolling adventures. Napoleon, we have lots of info about pet strollers on our Super Strollers' page, or you can read reviews on the Internet. We personally like the Pet Gear brand strollers, but there are lots of good ones out there.
Thanks for reading about my first stroll!
Cool! I'm not sure I'd be furry brave in a stroller, not like you! I'm glad you had a fun time. :~)
That sounds like so much fun! Mom wants to tr it with us but dad isn`t too sure about it and thinks we would like it too much and want to get out all the time! Maybe mom will be able to talk him into it:)
