Mom is concerned about my behavior lately. I have been extremely active, literally climbing the walls! Tonight I jumped on the top perch of the cat tree, which is about 5-6 feet from the ground. I stretched up high and was able to jump on top of the door frame. Mom watched in horror as I slid down the wall to the floor (note to self: do not slide down stucco walls, there is no traction!)
She then watched me as I ran and jumped up and scratched on the big TV screen. Did you know that HD is very life-like? I tried to catch a ball that was being shown during a golf tournament, but I couldn’t quite reach it….
Mom came home from work tonight and found waste paper baskets toppled over, newspapers, and mail shredded in a million pieces. The house was a mess. She didn’t see me do it, but she just knows it was me. Luke and Tully act appalled by my behavior and they are avoiding me.
What is wrong with me? Is this a temporary phase I am going through? Mom doesn’t know what to do!
Sheepish purrs, Sammy

Sammy you are a youngster... and maybe your sibs aren't enough entertainment when the purrents are away? I can't suggest anything except, DON'T let the humans leave any toys with strings on which you could hang yourself out to play with (mommy's precious princess Gabrielle, who liked to destroy things, got the elastic string of a toy wrapped around her neck and paw once just while mommy was napping!) and purhaps you could get one of those wheels they make fur kitties? They are like hamster wheels but bigger.
This is the kind of thing my brofur was meowing about: http://www.catwheelcompany.com/
Except that site's wheels seem ridiculously expensive! I'm sure there are cheaper ones.
Sammy, please be careful when your running around like a lunatic. Both of my neices Zelda and Mishka thought it was a good idea to jump on the ceiling fan when they were little. They quickly found out it was a very bad idea and were lucky they landed ok when they fell off. So please stay off the fans and any other things attached to the ceiling! You are a silly dude to go climbing on the walls!
Zeeke and the crew
My brofur Pumpkin is likes this he eats and plays with tolit paper, napkins, or paperstowls. Whens I'ms tryings to sleeps he attacks my tail, he eats my Meowmys hairs whiles she's tryings to sleeps, and attacks the window blinds until there's nothings left of thems (Meowmy & Pawpa will not replace them untils hes dones with this habit) but at other times hes as calms as can bes Meowmy says hes just a kitten but I's just a kitten and I's don'ts act like that!! I thinks it's cuz hes a boy cat and he's thinks he's the king of the house.
Thank you for your comments, friends! Mom is more concerned about my safety than anything else. She now empties all the wastepaper baskets before she leaves the house, puts all our toys with string on them in the closet, and hides anything she thinks could cause harm to me.
That cat wheel looks interesting, Emily, but we'd sure want to try it out before spending that amount of money!
Mom didn't even consider the ceiling fan, Zeeke...now she's got another thing to worry about - MOL!
Missy, your brother Pumpkin and I sure have a lot in common...he even looks like me...my secret twin perhaps?
