Arrival Story: We were shopping for a Christmas gift for Annabelle when this little kitty saw Jmatt and chose him from her adoption cage at petsmart. She reminded everyone of Whispers and seemed to be a gift from Whispers that she sent us from the bridge. She looks very similar, with the exception of her face. We adopted her and the adoption agency brought her by the next day.
Bio: She came to us as "Fancy Girl" but that name dose not really fit. We took some time, and suggestions, when deciding a name. It took us 7 days but we found one, or two really.
We wanted to call her Mischievous because shes been in to everything and loves to un decorate the tree.
We wanted to call her Bandit because of her black face mask. But no one really could see themselves calling a girl kitty Bandit.
So her full name is Mischievous Bandit, but we call her by Misty - short for Mischievous, and something she responds to as well as something that will fit later in life. For the nick name we thought of Missy, but Nana liked Misty better.
Nana had an angiogram done this past wednesday. She had good news too. The blood vessel is only 50% blocked instead of 90%. They still need her to be on some blood thinners for the rest of her life to prevent it from getting worse but this is much better news so we are excited about that. Thank you all for your POTP, I truly believe that POTP works even on our humans.
AnnaBelle and I have been "On Duty" watching over all our humans latley. AnnaBelle's mommy Sarah had her kidney rocks blasted on Friday so shes still sore but not in the screaming crying pain she was in. Im either laying on Nana's legs to remind her to rest or on Sarahs legs to comfort her and snuggle. Our human Jmatt had that surgery on his tailbone to have the big cyst removed early in July and the wound is still on its way to healing up. Its not painful anymore, just a nuisance. Hes not cleared to go back to work yet. So its been a furry busy summer with everyone taking their turn in the hospital being sick.
POTP needed for one of my humans.
One of MY HUMANS- Nana- had a mini stroke on tuesday.
Take a moment to let that set in. A mini stroke.
She has a 90% blockage of a blood vessel to the brain.
An angiogram is schedualed for Friday morning to find out more.
I havent seen her since she left for work on tuesday (it happend at work). I meowed and bellowed for her earlier today and only then did Jmatt and Sarah explain it to me and AnnaBelle.
So far everythign looks ok. If you didnt know she had it you wouldnt know, shes her normal self. But its scary stuff. So please send all the POTP you can. Thanks friends. Stay healthy!
