Arrival Story:
I ran into a local Petsmart to pick up a bottle of guinea pig vitamins they were holding for me, and I turned around and saw cages of cats up for adoption through an independent agency. It was exactly one week before Christmas. Willow (formerly named Eowyn) looked at me and I looked at her. It was love and bonding at first sight. She was so tiny and vulnerable with huge eyes and curled up tight in her bed. It didn't take long to know I would be her forever mom. Her gotcha day is December 18, 2009.
Bio:
Willow had a wonderful family before being surrendered. They had a new baby who turned out to be highly allergic to her. She was rescued by "For the Love of Cats", but was depressed and unhappy with so many cats around her and would isolate herself from them. She is adjusting to life with Simon and me very quickly and loves to cuddle with me. She purrs when held and seeks out our company.
Now that a few months have passed, Willow is more at home than ever. She and Simon follow each other all over the apartment and happily share their food bowls, litter boxes, and mom's bed. Her favorite perch is the window seat and she adores napping in bright sun-puddles. She is the perfect addition to our little family!
