Pietro's Journey

I was a very sick boy

I had silent pneumonia and yeast in my ears. Mommy could not tell what was wrong with me because nothing showed on the outside. I was not sneezing. I was not making noises like sniffles. The doctor did not know at first either.
I did not eat anymore. I did not like food. Nobody knew it was because I could not smell it and I felt so yucky.
I am on my way now but I got to take some horrible medicine. This medicine tastes really bad. Then Mommy has to put drops in my ears.
Mommy was very scared that I had FIP.
I don't have FIP.
I was very close to not making it. The doctor was not so sure. She could not take blood because she said the stress could make me die. Mommy said not to take my blood. I did not grow or gain weight either. Mommy said this was not a good sign.
I took some bites of food. Then more.
The medicine WORKED!
Mommy is going to watch me to make sure I keep it up.
