Skills: he carries a handmade knit hat around the house, pulls blanket off bed, carries his glitter balls around the house, drops at feet
Arrival Story: We are pet sitting for an indefinite time for Goose. He flew to San Diego from Chicago, Ill, in November 2009. He is a pet of a family member. When He came here, he was leary and scared of our home :). Goose stayed in one section of the house for about 4 days, peering around corners, walking partway down the hallway. He did have his "own" bedroom. He would come into the kitchen if his Mom (who was also visiting us) was around. He followed her e-v-e-r-y-where! After she left, he then started following us e-v-e-r-y-where! He adjusted very well. He is a lap cat and each evening he waits for me to sit down and watch TV. Then he jumps up and relaxes. He loves affection and being with people...on HIS terms. He has lost weight when he first came and he had some health issues prior to arriving here. We established a vet within one week and he is under a vet's care. I finally, hopefully, have found the proper food for him and I think he likes it. Right now he is with me as I type. As soon as I leave this room, he will be trailing behind. He is a talker. I love when I am at the computer, he will sit on the floor next to my chair and look up at me, into my eyes, and say "Meow." He wants up then!
