My family had x-mas last night because the kittens of my human family were out of town for their actual x-mas. When they came, I got lots of love. They were really gentle of my legs, because I have bad joints in my old age. It was nice. I got a lot of pettings and some new treats and new toys for around the house. No extra food, though. I asked Santa-Claws for it but he must not have heard. Next x-mas I'll have to meow louder.
Oh, I did manage to climb the tree last night and I nearly got a hold of a bow that I could play with. Then the older of the two human kittens picked me up and took the bow away. That's okay, though. I gave her paws a good cleaning over it.
I can't wait until the tree comes out again next year. =^.^=

My name is Georgia. My family got me from another nice family, but the boy couldn't keep me because of allergies. That's okay, though, because I have no problem with shedding at this house.
My family got me when I was 21 pounds, 6 years old and a scared cat. They had a dog. One of those things that thinks they're your friend no matter what you do and need to be put in their place. I decided my place was in the basement rafters.
For a month, my humans tried every possible means of coaxing me out from the rafters in the basement. Finally, I accepted and made my way upstairs, where I began exploring. I became a decently social cat who let my humans sleep with me, Told my humans to give me food off their plates, and let my humans know it was okay for them to pet me...NOW!
Now I'm 18 years old, still about 17 pounds and a sick kitty. I'm much older than anyone thought I would get and I have developed Kidney Failure. My humans are trying their best to keep me around and I"m enjoying the attention and the time I have to relax around the house. My mommy says I meow a lot more than I used to. That's true, but I'm old and I demand attention, darn-it.
