Arrival Story: We were looking for a second cat and went to the RSPCS looking for a tuxedo cat. All the kittens we saw in black & white were male. Finally in the very last room we found Lucy and she told me her name and said I was taking her home.
Bio: Lucy was a one-person cat and that person was me. She followed me all over the house, often just lying near me while I did chores, watched out the window if I went into the garden, slept on the end of my bed. In November of 2003 she had a medical attack which in retrospect the vet thinks was a stroke. We nursed her through several emergencies, including months of seizures. She finally left us in Nov of 2004 and I miss her very much. The photo is of her before her stroke. Afterwards she got very fat because of the medication she was on to control the seizures.
