The Adventure of Stoney and Friends! The life of a uber urban kitty!

The trials and tribulations of a kitty! Part 2-The good,- the bad and the UGLY (Nov 13th/09)

My first week at the new place was really an "EXPERIENCE"! The lady human is very nice. She puts some food in my bowl and gives me some water before she leaves for a few hours. I like to climb up on the big mattress that leans against the wall and nap, until the lady comes home. She calls me Stoney...and I climb down the mattress and run up to greet her. She brings me home treats and yummy wet food! Is she my new mommy?? Of all the humans she likes to cuddle me, and feed me...what would I do without her? Oh ya, she does have a mate...the taller one...he is a nice male! He brought me home some tasty meat: "chicken" he calls it. I love it! The man that brought me here isn't around very much. I don't think he likes me very much, but for some reason when different humans come over he likes to pick me up and show me to them. He has his own little girlies...I'm not sure I like them very much...they're mean! I was just minding my own buisness upstairs when they all came running afer me! I ran into their bedroom....BAD IDEA! The youngest one picked me up and threw me in a dark drawer and closed it! I got stuck! They all screamed...and scared the kibble out of me! I head some banging and the lady and her other short male friend came upstairs and got me out. The lady raised her voice and yelled at the girlies. I ran downstairs to recooperate and lick my wounds. I jumped into the lady's bed and snuggled in her blankets. She came down and gave me a treat then layed down beside me and told me how she loved me. I likedher lots and put my paw on her nose and purred.

The next few days were strange...The man who brought me here brought back that lady and her doggy. He threw me down in the basement and closed the door behind me. The nice lady brought down my food dish and water bowl and played with me. Her mate also came down to play with me. Are these my new meowmy and daddy? I think they are! Mama had to defend me again when the youngest girlie ripped out my right eyebrows! It hurt! Now whenever the girlies come over I run and hide in my mamas and daddys room. Whenever the other lady and her mutt come over I get thrown in the basement...I don't like this one bit! One day meowmy let me back upstair..she didn't like me being thrown down there. I saw that little heathen, but she didn't see me. When I got my chance I jumped off the chair and pounced the little sucker! I sunk my claws and teeth deep into her skin. We had a battle...knocked over a bowl of water and messed up the whole kitchen. My daddy broke up the fight and I retreated downstairs. The pup better think twice before messing with me!!!

The trials and tribulations of a kitty! Part 1-Comin' Home- (Nov 6th/09)

It was a cool dark night, and a strange lady and man came to pick me up! Me and my mama were thrown into a crate and carried off outside. I could hear a faint barking noise as we approached a small vehicle. Tossed in the back seat, me and mama were immediately "greeted" by an aggressive little mutt! She stared us down and growled at us, trying to poke her head through the cage door! Mama hissed at the rascally little heathen, but that just made matters worse! The mangy little mutt continued barking at us, jumping around like a crazed hound doggy in heat! The strange woman and man drove for a little while and then all of a sudden the vehicle stopped! The strange lady grabbed the crate and brought us in another place. "This isn't my home! Where are we going mama?!" I meowed. Mama licked me and snuggled my neck. At least that mangly little doogy wasn't barking at us anymore! Inside we went, the door was opened and a hand reached inside grabbing my mama dearest...pulling her out! "MEEEOWWW!" I squealed, as the door was shut behind her. Off I was lifted again and back into that dreaded car with the little evil thing! We drove around for what seemed like hours. The strange lady and man stopped a few times and left me in the car alone with the doggy. What kinda treatment is that?!? Damn thing barked at me for hours, the thing wouldn't shut his yap! Finally we stopped and the strange man lifted me out the car and brought me into a nice warm house. This place wasn't home either! I was put down on the floor and my crate door opened. I was timid at first. There were four humans in the room, and they were all looking at me! I was scared and looked at each and every one of them. A small shorter human male, a taller human male and a small human female. They all smiled at me, making little "come hither" noises. The strange man that brought me told the female human that my kitty litter and box were in the basement. He then left! The female enticed me over and scratched me behind the ears. I let out a low "Purrrrr" it felt good! The other two human males went down stairs and I heard a rustlin noises. I jumped when I heard something go CRASH! The female picked me up and soothed me, saying things like "awwwww, cute little baby" and tickled my belly. I liked that alot and licked her nose! She brought me downstairs and threw me in a box, I knew what this was! I scratched away and made a little tinkle. When I jumped out they all said "good kitty!!!" I ran back upstairs to explore and sniffed around a bit. I saw a smudge on the wall and started attacking it! Ohhh hehehe, I loved that little mark on the wall! The female human again enticed me and I jumped up on her lap and snuggled between her legs, purring very loudly. The shorter human male left a few hours later. The taller male went downstairs and I didn't see him come back up! That night me and the female human slept on the couch in a nice comfy blankie! I still miss my mommy, but this lady is awfully nice and knows just how to scratch a lil kitty like me!
