Here is a funny, sort of...story that meowmy found. Enjoy!I think the funny part is more in the imagination though..at least fur meowmy it was.

BERLIN (AP) -- A cat home alone in Germany apparently turned on the vacuum cleaner, frightened itself half to death and wound up being attended to by emergency services. Police in the Bavarian city of Bayreuth said a neighbor heard the cat's cries - not to mention a vacuum left running for hours - and feared there'd been a terrible accident.

The fire service sped to the scene Monday evening, but found only the cat and the machine.

A police statement Tuesday said the emergency call wasn't entirely in vain, though, because "at least the cat could be calmed down."

A stark contrast to the one Meowmy found and posted for Pipo. She laughed outloud,thinking what kitty in his or her right mind would go near a vacuum, let alone turn it on...MOL! Glad I could make you laugh, too...or at least giggle or grin!

Mom heard this story too!! Very funny. I am actually not afraid of the vaccuum at all- I go right up to it when it's on. Mom was shocked the first time she saw me do it, because her last cat was terrified of it. Mom's friend vaccuums her cat with the Dyson hose attachment- and THE CAT LOVES IT! it is the funniest thing mom has seen.

A couple of meowmy's former kitties, now angels, would do the same thing...and one of them was Toki, our Toki that is!
They rubbed and purred all over the business end of the vacuum!
