Well, today Meowmy made me get in the cat carrier. That is not my idea of fun...esp getting a car ride...can't even get out and walk around to explore the vehicle...
Well, I let meowmy know that I am a very good yowler, and have a wide variety of songs to carry on with. 20 minutes worth at least! MOL!
When we got to the vet office, Meowmy could hardly see me...I had gotten the cat cushion/mat all scratched up, and bunched up under myself, and a big corner of it was covering my face. (Trying to hide, just like Hazel Lucy...) And I had also ripped a lot of it to shreds, I was in a panic in that carrier, I think. Then, Oh the shame of it, Meowmy saw that the cushion wasn't only ripped up, it was wet...OMC! Wet with cat-pee. I just couldn't help myself, I was so scared. And there wasn't even any cat litter in there...So meowmy took the carrier apart, and lifted me out. All of my paws and bottom furs were sopping wet! How humiliating!
Well, then the vet lady took me into the back room and gave me a bath! OMC! That was the end! I shall never be able to look Pipo in the eye again. So embarrassing.
The cat cushion/mat, had to go in the trash! Later when meowmy looked at the bill, she saw that there was a fee for the disposal of biologically hazardous material! MOL! That will teach meowmy to take me in the car...
The vet lady said I hadn't changed my weight, so that was good.
She put 2 very sharp pointy things under my skin...OW! 1st a bath and then 2 pokes! The nerve!
Then she told meowmy that my teeth were nice and clean. OK, meowmy, Thanks at least for that part of my life...no more trips to the vet for now!
I dropped off a lot of my furs, there, too. all over the floor and meowmy. Vet lady said it was from stress! Well I was under stress, wasn't I?! MOL!
Then when I got home I had to explain to Pipo why there was a newspaper in the carrier, instead of the nice soft mat...More humiliation. And the dog-guy just wouldn't leave me alone with his big sniffer-snoot!
OK! Now I have to go and hide in some warm place until my furs are dry and my sanity is restored!
Poor Minko. That's pretty embarrassing. I've never peed because I'm going to the vet's but Whitley has gotten nervous and peed on the floor there. Of course, she's a dog so I have no clue if she was actually embarrassed or not.
You should not feel humiliated. It was just an accident. Not your fault... you were scared! The 5 of us just went to the vet for our yearly sharp pokie thingies. We all get pretty scared too. Mom says they are luck because Dad drives and Mom sits in the back with us to keep us calm. They have to take us one at a time. Mom uses a towel in our carrier and always brings an extra one in case of accidents.

P.S. We are pretty sure the bio-hazard disposal fee was for those sharp pokie thingies as we had them on our vet bills too.
Oh no's Minko! Welpers u no's it wuz a asident! It wuz! An' u wuz nervous! Dat happens. U mom will be more prepared now when u goes. Her's take care of u hansome!! Love, Milo
Poor Minko, don't feel bad! Though I haven't had an accident like that (my vets calls me "She-Ra" for my strength, although Penny gets really scared and is nicknamed "Velcro-Cat" by the vets) my mom has had many rescue kitties who have not only wet themselves, but pooped as well. It all depends on how painful or hard past vet visits were on you, so one day I might be terrified too! I'm glad you got a clean bill of health!
Love and Whisker Kisses,
Yah, I was scared and stressed...but the poop thing, well Toki who was meowmy's kitty before me and Pipo almost always produced a turd in the carrier! MOL! Then it was an easy sample for worm checks...
I usually just shed all kinds of my furs, but this pee stuff has never happened before.
And to think that meowmy always keeps towels in the van...she just forgot all about them!
Minko, mom and I were giggling about the variety of songs you sang in the car ride. I meow in cars too, but usually only for the beginning. I know why she kept you in the carrier: one time my mom decided to let me roam the car and I crawled under the seats and she had a hard time pulling me out. Now I'm only allowed to poke my head out of the carrier, and she keeps one hand on my head.
If Meowmy let me put out me head...give me an inch and I fur sure would take my mile! And get under the foot pedals or something like that...MOL!
