Well we still had very high winds and wild weather yesterday, but no tornadoes. The sun was out making warm sun-puddles for our benefit...which is more than we can say about today. It is dank, damp and blustery as well as chilly! So our nests look more inviting and cozy than evfur!

There is a first time for everything:

Today at our neighborhood it is garbage collection day. That means that the litter boxes get cleaned out quite a bit earlier than usual...and today was no exception!
Well, we have covered boxes. Never have we used other than those...since meowmy's first kitty used to scratch litter all over the floor, and even get his pee on the floor when he got so old, he couldn't 'squat' properly...poor dude.
So there are covers and even a swinging door...and us guys even hit the door with our piddlings at times...so meowmy is glad that she uses these boxes, and we don't seem to mind them either. They are turned away from the traffic that may be nearby, particularly the dog-guy, who likes to try and stick his head in them to 'forage'! EEUW! YUCK!
Well, today meowmy got out the litter spoon, and her bag...and lifted off the lid...and lo and behold there was I...looking a bit embarrassed to be caught in 'the act' and I wasn't even being naughty!
Meowmy, will you pawlease check with your eyes & ears to make sure you do not interrupt me or Minko when we have to do 'privacy pawlease'! Afterall, you don't barge into the human bathroom when someone is in there, why would you do that to us?

Well, I just stalked off, tail straight up, as if nothing was amiss! Humph!

Meowmy was giggling, but I really do not know what was so funny...hiss!

She told pawppy, too. Good grief!

Oh my. My litter box has super-high sides and is hidden behind a curtain. I'm so glad I havn't been caught like you! I'm sorry that happened to you! At least your meowmy was TRYING to clean it... it could have been worse!

MOL! That is pretty funny! I am not too big on privacy - it I was maybe I wouldn't poop right outside the box all the time!

Oh Pippo, that's so funny! But I feel for you too! My box isn't covered but I don't like anyone nearby or watching me when I have to do my business. Sometimes mommy doesn't know that I'm in my box and walks in on me!

She told Pawppy too? Well you were cool and aloof as a kitty would be!

I often use my box when dad is near it. I'm either a showoff or I like someone in there with me; I feel it's something we should all go through together!

That is funny! Mom keeps telling us the same thing when we all show up in the bathroom when she's using it. There is something to be said for some purrivacy, puhlease!
