Arrival Story:
When she was only about 3 weeks old, she was abandoned. I work in an elementary school office, and some kids brought her in to me to say that she had been left at the side of the road. It was a cold, blustery October day. I put her inside my coat, and walked around the neighbourhood, looking for a mother cat or someone looking for her. Nothing. I settled her inside the filing cabinet drawer where I keep extra kids mittens. She snuggled in and slept in the warmth. Children would come in, I would open the drawer, and they would oooh and ahhhh. I called my husband to come from home to see her. We took her to a local pet store where the owner said that she was too little to go to the animal rescue shelter. He walked around the store, picking up a litter box, litter, milk, food, toys, etc. He put them on the counter and said that if I kept her, he would give me the fixin's for free. I took her home and had to feed her with an eye dropper, she was so little.
Bio:
She should be waaaay more grateful to have been rescued. She likes her mom, but not her dad, and her boy Sean is one of her favourites. She has a very cautious disposition, and likes to be in control at all times. She hates to feel threatened. She lives to aggravate the dog. She hates it when the dog comes back from the groomer. She doesn't recognize her since she looks and smells different. It takes her about a day to realize that it's the same dog that left in the morning. Nobody said she was bright! Definitely a unique personality -- I've never had one like her!
