It' a Cats life

Happy Fun Time!

Well it sure has been a while since my last entry.Mom,Dad and I have been very busy! Christmas is coming up fast so we had lost of decorating and shopping to do.It was cold outside so I sat inside and watched them hang lights up outside.Then we got the Christmas tree down from the attic.I'm not allowed to help or play with any of those decorations because I once knocked down the whole tree! The next day it was off to do some shopping.As usual Mom won't let me go outside without a sweater on so after she helped me get it on we all hopped into the car.
First stop was Pet Smart.It's my favorite store! There were all kinds of other animals there,I did not know what to think.Dad said we needed to look at play houses first so we headed over to check them out.They let me choose which one I wanted..but I didn't because it was very expensive and I know how tight Mom and Dad are on monies.The one I chose was still really cool though! It had 3 stories and lots of places to hide.It even had a place for me to scratch.
After that Mom insisted we went to look at more clothes.They had quite a selection,it was so hard to make my mind up on which ones I liked best.Finally we all decided on 3 outfits. The first one was a cool green Christmas hoodie with bells.Mom chose the one with red,green and white stripes.I think Dad picked out the coolest one.He got me a awesome blue jacket.It even came with a little scarf!
Next stop was the toys! Once again there were so many to choose from.Feather toys with bells.Balls that jingle,mice with catnip,tunnels to crawl through...I wanted them all! Mom got the stick with lots of colorful feathers and bells on it and a few of the mousies.Dad wanted to get something I could play with when they are busy or at work so he got a electronic mouse and ball.I love my parents.They get me the coolest stuff!
Then we headed over to the collars and tags.I got a new collar that is black with glow in the dark stars.My new tag is pretty sweet too.It has all of my info and on the back is a little note to remind me that Mom and Dad love me so much.I know they got me more things for Christmas but I don't know what they are.I will just have to wait until Christmas to find out! I can't wait!!

Dec 1st

Today I woke up and had a wonderful breakfast.Mom put my sweater on so I could go outside.It is very cold out these days! First I went to my favorite tree and dug a hole.Next stop was the tire swing which I love to scratch.I then decided I wanted to play in the pile of leaves Dad made yesterday.I love the sound they make when I pounce in them!
After my playtime outside,I came back in to warm up and cuddle with Dad in his chair.He always loves to sit with me and gives me yummy treats! I got warm and wondered over to my toy box and brought my beads to Mom so we could play.I got a little to excited and fell off the chair but I am O.K..Now it is time for my nap in the window.Can't wait for tomorrow.We are going to the park!
