Arrival Story:
Chloe was given to me as gift from a female friend after the recent death of fiefie who was also a Siamese. The best way to describe Chloe as a kitten is this. It was like she had a bottle rocket up her butt 24/7! From the very beginning it was clear that she was head strong and was going to do what ever she wanted when ever she wanted. There were several times when we have a battle of the wills, she would always come out the victor in some way or another. I went to work many times with my face and arms covered in scratches. My coworkers would always inquire about them and I would always give them the same answer "Chloe did it"! To this day I still don't think that they believed that a tiny kitten could do so much damage in such a short amount of time. There were a few times when I gave some serious thought to giving her back to the same person that had given me this warrior cat! Even though Chloe was distructive and always willing to show me that she was in charge, I loved her and life wouldn't be the same with out her. I thank god every day that I didn't act on my thoughts about sending her back. Chloe and I have now been together for 9 years and she is still in charge! She still hisses and gives me the foot at times. Now I just look at her and smile and say thanks for showing me the love. Chloe is a very loving cat and she shows me every day. She follows me around and mews at me. Sense I work out of town 5 days a week she makes it a point to let me how she feels about it. When ever I run water in the tube she stars mewing and sits on the side of the tube...she thinks that will keep me from getting in the tube. Chloe associates the tube with me leaving! When ever I go to the kitchen she will ALWAYS go and sit in front of the door and mew at me... she's telling me that there is absolutely no way in heck that I am going out that door! It makes me painfully aware just how much she needs and wants me there with her. When my girlfriend of five years decided that she needed to move. I moved back to my home in Columbus,Ga. It became quite clear that I needed someone to be there for the cats while I was away during the week. I was lucky that I had met someone that was a professional cat setter and knew how to deal with a Siamese and their unpredictable moods. It's been almost two years now and Chloe and the setter have become the best of friends. Although I had-had other Siamese cats in the past and was well aware of their moods and just how quickly they can change from the sweet loving kitty to the little terrors that they can sometimes be. Chloe is the one that show's me just how much my being around really means to her and just how truly important love and family is to us all! Chloe still loves to be the center of attention and it doesn't matter who comes over to visit. She will be right there to greet them and she even gets in on the conversations at times. She is an amazing cat and I love her more and more each and everyday.

A new start

As you all know by now that our friend and loving house mate Hans passed over to the Rainbow bridge early on Thursday morning. Mom has been real busy answering emails and paw mail from all of his visitors that have stopped by to pay their respects.

It's been real sad around our house for the past couple of days, with good reason. But, we've doing our best to keep up our mom's spirits as best we can.

Mom say's that we not have Christmas at our house this year....I really hope that with time she will change her mind. I really want Santa Claws to come us this year.

I asked Santa to make our mom happy for Christmas. He can bring us toys next year.

The sitter

My daddy says that he is going to ask the sitter "our mom" if she would consider moving in to the spare bedroom so she could be with us all the time. Cause he's only home one or sometimes two day's a week at the most, he says it would be better for us all if she did. Our mom lives with some other people and has to drive over here to be with us every day. Boy...she must really love us a lot to do that! He say's he is gonna ask her about it when he get's home on Saturday. I hope she say's YES!

Dad says that he worries about us being alone at night...he worries about the house catching on fire or, someone breaking in. He says if someone is here with us all the time then, if any of those things should happen he knows that our mom would make sure that we were safe and, it would keep him from worrying about us so much while he's away.

So, I need all my kitty friends to keep your paws crossed.

Purrs and mews to all

It's December

It's the first day of December and mom "my sitter" will be putting up the Christmas tree real soon. I just can't wait to see all those ornaments other fun things that I will be able to play with real soon. I would like to climb up the tree but sense I don't have any front claws that might be a problem...but, if the branches are close enough together I should be able to get to the top. I just hope that mom doesn't tell my daddy....he'll be upset with me especially if I should manage to brake an ornament or two.

But, he's my daddy and he loves me so he want be able to be mad at me for longer then a second or two at the most. My daddy is away most of the time, I do miss him so very much. But, that's how he can buy us our cat food and litter for our boxes and of course the chicken that mom grills up for me everyday.

I'm glad that mom "the sitter" is here with us while daddy is away... it's scary and very lonely when your alone. I know the other cats and that DOG is here but, it just isn't the same as having a human around to make food for you and love and pet you.
