Arrival Story:
my freinds cat, a beautiful calico called 'good fortuine' had a litter of kittens with the neighborhood male, a HUGE mostly white tom with a gray patch on his head. I was 13 at the time and we had 2 dogs but no cat. somehow i begged my parents into letting me get a kitten (me being an animal lover tryed to ask for 2 kittens lol) we were playing in her room and cookie, still only 4-6 weeks, crawled from across the room, climbed the bed and lay with me. She chose me. I named her 'cookie' after her mother, good fortuine.

The first thing about cookie is shes nuts. she hated most people, and half the time, hated me. if you touched her back feet she about ripped your face off. she was the only cat in the house but if she saw one outside she'd pee on everything. but i loved cookie, she was my first cat. My parents decided she would be best as indoor/outdoor, because she did pee on everything. (it wasnt my choice)While outside cookie caught FIV and had to be put to sleep a few years ago at the age of 9 years. At her death, true to form, she growled at me when i hugged her. It was a cold, over cast feb. afternoon, and after she was gone, the clouds broke and shined a brillant white light on her body, which glowed bright white in the sun. I knew that finally she was at peace. Her whole life cookie never acted right, so now finally she was cureed of whatever ailment she had. Cookie was a nasty cat but was there for me during the hard years of middle and highschool, and was there when i had to move away from home. I loved her little pink nose. i shall never forget her.
