indoors Arrival Story: Friends from work, found a little kitten and they brought the kitten back to the office. I asked them why they had a kitten. Apparently, the little kitty was lurking around the local funeral home. The people who worked there were feeding her, but they thought she really needed a home where people would giver her more love and attention. So when they brought her into the office, I fell in love immediately. I just couldn't resist taking her home! I had almost no cat supplies at the time, but a close friend helped me out there. The funny thing is, is that I had just bought a litterbox that day because I knew I was going to get a kitty from somewhere and I am so glad I did! Luna is a great addition. Now the house isn't so quiet as it was just me before I got her. ;) Bio: Luna is pretty crazy (or should I say Loony?), that's how she got her name. Although the good thing about that is, she isn't lazy and is always playing around with something around the house. She LOVES to play with you, with string, your finger, anything that dangles, or moves. But in the night, she likes to cuddle up next to me and fall asleep with me. Slowly but surely mama and I are coming BACK to catster and visiting it MORE. For a while there, mama was so busy with work that she almost completely forgot about catster! Even though I was giving her subtle reminders pretty much EVERY DAY!
We've been kinda going around the site and trying to figure out where to start. It's almost like we just started catster again because mama doesn't know where to go!
I've missed everyone SO much!! It's CRAZY! The feeling of being back is a great one, I'll tell you that much. :)
Today when I woke up, I did my usual routine. Get up, stretch, go downstairs where mama is, eat some breakfast, have a drink of refreshing water and then jump up on the window ledge. Yep. Everything was completely normal...until I jumped up on the window ledge and LOOKED out the window. 'Cause what did I see? That darned WHITE STUFF all over the ground!!! And more of it was coming down. It's still OCTOBER! It usually snows in mid-NOVEMBER!! And people are worrying about global warming...HA!
Moving away from the weather...I've been doing pretty good. Same as mama. Work is going good for her. On the first Wednesday of the month the Humane Society does something called, "Wish Upon A Whisker" and mama has to help out with that. That's where if you adopt a certain kitten or cat the adoption fee is waived. They've done this for two months now. In September it was all the "Black Beauties" and this month it was "Pumpkin Coloured Beauties." Mama thinks that's a great idea. I'm surprised she hasn't come home with another kitty yet!
Not much else has been happening, that's about it. :)
So, again, I haven't been on here in forever! Mama needs to make catster her homepage so that when she opens up her internet, it goes straight to catster. That way, she won't furget.
I'll let you know what has been going on in my life so far.
The weather has been pretty gloomy for a while. But it has the occasional sunny day. Like today! Mama is going to take me out later because she wants to take me out as much as she can before that white stuff is on the ground again.
That's the weather. But I have also become OBSESSED with looking at the ceiling. Doesn't matter where I am. Upstairs, downstairs, I'm like ALWAYS looking up at the ceiling. Mama thinks it's because I saw a bug up there once and I went crazy for it and ever since then I've always just looked up to see if there's more. Little does she know that her house is infested with invisible bugs that only I can see!! ;)
Well, I'm going to let mama go, FOR NOW, so we can go outside.
