Arrival Story:
Friends from work, found a little kitten and they brought the kitten back to the office. I asked them why they had a kitten. Apparently, the little kitty was lurking around the local funeral home. The people who worked there were feeding her, but they thought she really needed a home where people would giver her more love and attention. So when they brought her into the office, I fell in love immediately. I just couldn't resist taking her home! I had almost no cat supplies at the time, but a close friend helped me out there. The funny thing is, is that I had just bought a litterbox that day because I knew I was going to get a kitty from somewhere and I am so glad I did! Luna is a great addition. Now the house isn't so quiet as it was just me before I got her. ;)

Luna is pretty crazy (or should I say Loony?), that's how she got her name. Although the good thing about that is, she isn't lazy and is always playing around with something around the house. She LOVES to play with you, with string, your finger, anything that dangles, or moves. But in the night, she likes to cuddle up next to me and fall asleep with me.

Good News Always Tends to Bring Bad News

Hey everyone! I'M BACK!! :D That's the good news! Mama and the lovely Watch Cat of Catster were able to figure out how to get my account onto this one. Something about "merging." Mama forgot her login information for me and they helped her out. So a big thanks to the Watch Cat! :)

Anddd now comes the bad news. I'm going to take a blurb from my mama's blog because it would just be easier than mama helping me tell the story again. So here goes.

"Well, today is November 7, 2013. I just realized that yesterday marked the 4 year mark. Luna isn't with us anymore.

Near the end of this summer [2013], Luna was having some issues and kept having accidents around the house. So, since we were going camping in Kananaskis for a week, my parents didn't want her having anymore accidents when we were gone because she would be in the house alone with Kovu [he's my brofur - since November 2011...mama will have to make a page for him too!] all day, everyday for a week. My dad suggested that we give her to someone for the week and have them look after her while we were away. Well, someone from church came over to pick up some Tupperware from my mom the day we were leaving to go camping and so my mom asked her if she wanted a cat for a week and she was all for it. So she took Luna and none of us got to say goodbye to her. This someone (I'm not giving names), lives on an acreage. So out in the middle of nowhere. Well apparently she left her garage door open (that's where she was keeping Luna) so Luna could go outside. And she said that Luna would come back..except for the 3rd day. That's when Luna didn't come back. The next Sunday we were going to go to this someone's house and pick Luna up. Well plans changed when this someone told my mom that "the cat" (she didn't even remember Luna's name) was gone. And that she saw "the cat" in a field but she didn't go out and get her because oh. She didn't have time. Okay. AND THEN! This someone HAS THE DECENCY to talk to me AND NOT EVEN MENTION THE FACT THAT SHE LOST MY CAT!!!! She pretended that everything was honky dory and nothing was wrong. SERIOUSLY?! WHO DOES THAT?! Oh I was not impressed...I'm still not. And so we go looking for her after church and we go to these people's house and we talk to them for a bit. Well no one was looking for Sara and I had enough of everyone pretending everything was okay so we started looking for her. And then eventually my whole family was out calling her name and looking in the fields for her. Oh, but were the people who lost our cat helping us look? Nope. Okay, so first you lose our cat. Second, YOU DON'T EVEN HELP US LOOK FOR HER?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?! Ohhhh, I'm sorry. You live on an acreage, in your tiny little naive minds, you think cats are just wild animals and you can't have real connections to them. They're like rodents, they're everywhere so when one's gone..pssha I'll just get a new one. NOOOOO! THE CAT THAT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO LOOK AFTER WAS A BELOVED FAMILY PET! SHE WAS A PART OF OUR FAMILY! WE LOVED HER LIKE SHE WAS A PART OF OUR FAMILY!! AND YOU FREAKING LOST HER. Thanks for that. Oh and thanks for helping us look for her. Not. May I just remind you, that YOU HAD ONE FREAKING JOB...and you blew it. Frick sakes. Anyway, we didn't have any luck that day. Or every other time we went after that. So I'm just hoping and praying that she's safe. Heck, I'd rather her in someone else's house because they're probably giving her enough love and at least she's warm and looked after. But seriously. It breaks my heart that she's gone.

Luna, I will love you forever. And you will be in my heart forever and ever."

If you want the link to the full blog post, just pm me and mama can send it to ya.

So the bad news is, that I am no longer living with mama. She's just hoping and praying to God that I am warm and safe somewhere because this past winter has been brutal.

Well, that's all I got for ya today. Glad to be back on Catster! And mama feels better than she has control of my account now. Thanks again Catster. :)

It's been WAY too long.

Hi furriends,

Slowly but surely mama and I are coming BACK to catster and visiting it MORE. For a while there, mama was so busy with work that she almost completely forgot about catster! Even though I was giving her subtle reminders pretty much EVERY DAY!

We've been kinda going around the site and trying to figure out where to start. It's almost like we just started catster again because mama doesn't know where to go!

I've missed everyone SO much!! It's CRAZY! The feeling of being back is a great one, I'll tell you that much. :)

I hope to talk to everyone SOON!

Thanks for reading!

Today when I woke up, I did my usual routine. Get up, stretch, go downstairs where mama is, eat some breakfast, have a drink of refreshing water and then jump up on the window ledge. Yep. Everything was completely normal...until I jumped up on the window ledge and LOOKED out the window. 'Cause what did I see? That darned WHITE STUFF all over the ground!!! And more of it was coming down. It's still OCTOBER! It usually snows in mid-NOVEMBER!! And people are worrying about global warming...HA!

Moving away from the weather...I've been doing pretty good. Same as mama. Work is going good for her. On the first Wednesday of the month the Humane Society does something called, "Wish Upon A Whisker" and mama has to help out with that. That's where if you adopt a certain kitten or cat the adoption fee is waived. They've done this for two months now. In September it was all the "Black Beauties" and this month it was "Pumpkin Coloured Beauties." Mama thinks that's a great idea. I'm surprised she hasn't come home with another kitty yet!

Not much else has been happening, that's about it. :)
