indoors Arrival Story: Our friend Leilani was going for shoulder therapy and spotted Willow in the bushes just past Security. She picked her up, and went and spoke to the Guard, Felix about her.
Willow had been living there for about a month, one day while on duty he heard a kitten crying and crying. He finally followed the sound to a storm drain, and under the crate below was a tiny kitten crying and hanging on for dear life. He called the Fire Department who came and broke open the drain and rescued her.
That in San Juan is a miracle. The young man shared his food with her, and gave her a cardboard "apartment" next to the Security Booth. He really cared about her - but did not consider how lucky she was to survive all the cars in and out, and to be fed people food.
When Leilani came out of her therapy it had poured, and Willow was soaked to the bones. Leilani gently and with a lot of love convinced the young man to let her have him.
