Arrival Story:
Stella had her 4 babies somewhere on our property in early 2005. She kept bringing them to our front deck, and of course we fed them all. We were able to trap and spay Stella and the three females --- Midnight, Miss Kitty and Blackie -- but to date have not been able to trap the only male, Po. He comes nearly every night to eat and is still very wary of everyone as well as other cats and animals. Stella was obviously abandoned, and had one time been someone's cat. She was very friendly. After she and her three daughters were spayed, we decided to keep them. They live indoors now with access to an outdoor cat run. The only cat who refuses to go out into the cat run is our FAP, Tanith. Stella is a real sweetheart and mothers all our cats. She even tries to take care of Tanith but gets hissed at for her efforts. We are guessing at Stella's age, but the vet thinks it's pretty close to her real age.
