Arrival Story:
Sassy was born under our Trailer his Mom is a wild cat that lived here when we moved here in March of 2004. We had a real bad snow and ice storm coming, I knew the kittens were there and would not be safe out as it was going to be below 0 weather. I was looking out my back window when I saw Mom walking in the yard and the two kittens following her. I went out to get them, I could only get Sassy the other one got away. When I caught him he was hissing and spitting at me so I wrapped him in a towel and cuddled him. He finally calmed down. I then went to get the crate to put him in as I knew he would feel secure in a dark safe place. He did calm down to where I could pick him up. I went back out to find the other one but I did not have any luck. The storm was bad and we had a pipe break, Hubby and the plumber went under the house to fix it. They found his ( I have since learned the Litter Mate is still alive) litter mate dead. My heart sank as I prayed that little one would stay safe till I could get her. I was so glad that we were able to save Sassy and he has now become part of our family and we are watching her grow. Sassy has grown so much will get some updated pictures. We have since learned that the she is a he. It is hard to tell when they are little kittens. We decided to keep the name Sassy for him because he is use to that name and he is such a Sassy Kat.
