Hi, furriends. Sandy was no big whoop at our house. The power never went out, the cable stayed on, and the wind didn't even blow the neighbors' ugly plastic porch furniture away! Durn! But for all you cats who didn't fare so well, my sisfurs and I are purring for you.

Mom is going to Los Angeles this week to attend the Cat Writers' Association conference. She wants to see if any of her magazine stories win an award. I have high hopes for "Adventures in Catsterland."

If any your moms or dads are going to the conference, tell them to make sure to look for my mom and say hi.

Good to know that Sandy left you alone. We've been worried about our friends in its path. We're also been purring for all the cats who have been affected.

We hope your mum's stories do win an award and look forward to hearing all about her trip.
