Arrival Story:
Sophie was a long-time resident at the Homer Animal Shelter in Alaska. We adopted her to keep her from being put to sleep for the shelter was very full. She blended right into the family, trying always to not cause any problems for anyone. On Easter Sunday shortly after we adopted her, she gave birth to 3 beautiful kittens in our upstairs closet. We found good homes for all her kittens and Sophie has been with us ever since. She is a sweetheart.
