Arrival Story: I was looking for a new companion for Wednesday after my beloved Miss Minker passed away. They had been together since they were 3 months old so I was worried that Wednesday would be lonely being the only cat. Caseopia followed a friends daughter home & when I went to look at her she was so adorable that I had to take her home. The 1st time I saw her she was chasing a tennis ball up & down my friends hallway. She was one of the sweetest cats I had ever seen.
Bio: Caseopia hurt her right front leg in 2002 & the vet put a splint on it. Somehow her body decided that the leg was useless & stopped supplying it with blood. When I took her back to the vet to remove the splint we discovered that the leg was completely necrotized. The vet had to remove the leg immediately & she recovered unbelievably fast. We couldn't & still don't understand why she never behaved different while this was happening. She still played & acted completely normal, if she hadn't I would have taken her to the vet sooner. We can only think that her body cut off the supply of blood because it thought it was irreparably damaged & didn't want to waste resources on it. She is now an extremely happy kitty who runs my house. She was always the sweetest cat in my home but after the surgery she has become even sweeter but a little fresh as well. I think that she's decided that she can get away with anything now & she's right! My friends have decided that she's even prettier now without the leg, her fur is softer & she is friskier than ever. She gets the "crazies" & tears all over the house. Caseopia loves my dogs but loves my pittie Ripley most of all. She nuzzles Ripley & sticks her head in her ear. Lucky for her, Ripley loves her too!
