Arrival Story:
I found opossum kitty living as a stray in my boyfriend's neighborhood. he was a tiny tiny kitten and each time i saw him he looked worse and about the 3rd time i saw him i knew i couldn't let him live like that so i brought him home. after a trip to a vet he weighed 1.2 lbs. two months later he weighed 1.1 lbs and lethargic-- we knew something was wrong. the vet concluded he had a URI, worms, and he wasn't producing enough red blood cells. antibiotics and a dewormer was all we could do... we just had to see what would happen. and a month later he's up to almost 3 lbs! still small for his age, but he's much healthier and so playful! A few years later and a big FAT FLUFFY kitty :) Totally healthy and a big ol' momma's boy!!
