Arrival Story: My mother and I were shopping at PetSmart and Love-A-Stray displays their pets there in hopes they will be adopted. I always look at the animals because I am an animal lover. I saw this one little tabby kitty and I could not resist. I asked if I could hold her* (at the time Max was too little to know the sex, and the people at Love-A-Stray thought he was a girl).
I began holding Max and he was so peaceful and calm in my arms. He had the biggest ears and little white paws. I fell in love instantly. I wanted him so bad but my mom said my father would kill me (I was home in the summer before my junior year in college). I went home (unhappy and with no kitty). I thought about it and thought about it and got up the courage to ask my Dad if I could have the kitten. He was angry but finally agreed. I went back to PetSmart the next day and adopted my little one. Max was rescued from a fire. I at first named him Tasha because I thought he was a girl. When the vet told me otherwise, I had to come up with a male name and get rid of the hot pink collar I had bought him. Luckily, my fiance came to rescue and thought of Max and it just fit him so perfectly.
He has now grown to be a spoiled but lovable little guy. Very personable with a great character. I love him so much!

Bio: He is a tabby but his belly is white separated with a few leopard spots. He also has white paws. His tail is the longest cat's tail I have ever seen and it is always up and in the air. He loves to play but also loves to eat and sleep. He likes to try and sneak outside (even though he is an indoors cat). I sometimes let him out with supervision (as he front claws are declawed) and those are his favorite moments.

Lives Remaining: 9 of 9

Forums Motto: I love to sleep and eat.
