Arrival Story:
Our first cat (we were HUGE dog people with St. Bernards & Newfies). Mickey adopted us at Disney's Marketplace one night after we were dining at Ragland Road (Irish Pub) and walking around Lake Buena Vista. We blame it on the Irish beers - hence the name "Mickey O'Mouser". Mickey was a stray living at the Disney Marketplace behind Wolfgang Pucks and the House of Blues - living on scraps (gourmet scraps at that) when he starting following us and mewing. He was approximately 7 months old when he adopted us and we carried him out of the park and took him to his new home. Mickey bonded with our Landseer Newfoundland immediately - what size difference? 10lbs vs 130lbs? They became best buddies and we became cat/dog people. Mickey did have one hidden secret - he was a carrier of feline leukemia - which stayed in remission for 3 years. Then in 3 days (during the holiday season 2008) Mickey went from being an extremely active cat to leaving us. Mickey is still a huge part of our lives and watches over us now and has brought 3 other cats into our lives to keep us & AJ (our Newfie) entertained and loved. We will always have a very special spot and alot of loving memories of Mic - you are our first cat and our angel. Love ya always!
