Today the sun was shining brightly, and even though it was only in the low 50s outside, Mom got overheated while cleaning the sunny family room. So she opened the French doors to let a little cool air in.
We came zooming in from all over the house to stand by the screen and sniff that sweet air, even though the vacuum cleaner monster was in the room with us.
Wow. Fresh air and sun puddles all at the same time. Life is good.
And to make it even better, Mom picked up a package of chicken livers at the store yesterday to fry up and freeze as occasional treats for us. She was astonished at how much chicken livers cost these days -- she remembers when they were so cheap that she treated her cats once a week. Those must have been some really good old days.

I luv chicken livers!
Sounds like really nice day to me. Sun and a little bit of breeze is my kind of day. We're still get some heat but it will be gone soon.
Hope everything is going well with you and the rest of family mate. I love chicken but I've never had chicken liver what does that taste like?
Kinda hard to explain what chicken liver tastes like, Ka-Zar. It tastes like liver, but smooth and creamy in the mouth. You know that paté that humans serve on crackers at fancy parties? It's like that. Yum.
And I just realized that it has been two weeks since I wrote that entry, with the title "Is it spring?" and I can say emphatically that it is NOT!!
Chilly, windy and gray today, with snow in the forecast. Hold on to that heat for as long as you can, mate. It's a long time coming back!
