Arrival Story:
Back when I was looking for a companion for Jasmine, I came across an ad from Sask Alley Cat Allies. It was an adoption ad and photo for Suki, or Kira as she was called. I fell madly in love with her photo. There was something so intriguing about her. I contacted them right away. Sadly I was too late and she had been adopted to a young man in town. I was crushed. The lady that I spoke with told me of another cat that needed a home. I went to see her and thats when we found Honey. We adopted Honey that day and she is an absolute darling. She has brought us such joy.
Now several months later I was flipping through the pet ads and what do I see? Suki (Kira) the black cat that had captured my heart months ago. I called right away to find out that the young fella that had adopted her moved out of the country and returned her. She again needed a home. The rest is history. She is home. It was meant to be. I am very happy and very blessed. Now we have two gorgeous black cats to love instead of one. See, black cats really are lucky. And Jasmine loves them too.
